first of all sorry its not jap ,but ive got a real thing for these cars i had one when i was 18 so decided to go bact to my roots lol

Seat ibiza cupra 1.8 20v turbo

Spec as follows:

Body:

- Imperial blue with all usual cupra bodykit
- De-wipered rear (can put the wiper and motor back on if wanted)
- Super stubby aerial


Engine:

- K04 turbo
- A-M Motorsport 9 core front mounted intercooler
- 4'' inlet filter with polished cold air feed pipe
- Jabbasport map
- 3" custom downpipe & 100 cell race cat (wrapped in graphite impregnated heat wrap)
- Full cat back stainless steel Jetex exhaust system
- forge recirculating DV 007p
- Uprated engine mounts & gearbox mount (from badger5)
- 4 Bar FPR
- Silicone hoses and polished pipe work for intercooler
- Blue vacum hoses
- Polished rocker cover

- Seat sport upper strut brace (powder coated to match wheels)

- Organic VR6 clutch with uprated clutch cover (30% more clamping force)
- All new bolts purchased from VW for conversion

Braking:

- 4 pot brembo brake upgrade (painted black with white porsche decals)
- Ferodo DS2500 pads
- AP brake fluid

Chassis:

- H&R cup suspension kit
- 5mm spacers at rear

Interior :

- Half leather
- Air con
- Nomad pillar with autometer boost gauge
- Ibiza cupra R gauge holder with autometer oil temperature and volt gauges


Wheels :

- Powder coated last month in dark anthracite
- 7 x 17 Mille Miglia (2 different offsets to clear brembo brakes)
- New centre caps, Spigot rings and wheel nut covers)
- Toyo proxe T1Rs 205/40/17

Audio :

- 0g wiring
- Alpine headunit with motorised screen
- Boot build
- DVD player (with remote control)
- Alpine 6 disc changer
- Alpine distribution block
- Alpine component speakers powered by a large un-branded amp
- JL audio sub (12'' in custom fibreglass boot build)
- JL sub powering amp

The mileage is just over 77000

Car has had cambelt and waterpump changed (with brass impellor)
New clutch fitted (have pictures and receipts to prove)
New G60 flywheel (as above)
New MAF
New coilpacks
New secondary waterpump

253 bhp 265lbft of torque:)

I was looking at these the other day and think they are pretty wicked

do you mind me asking how much you picked it up for as it looks very tidy :)

And is there a point to the bonnet bra or just for looks?

nice choice mate ! i was looking for one in that colour originally but stumbled accross a mint black one so got that in the end. nice spec though fella :rockon:

Thanks for the replies , yeah the bonnet bra is to protect from stone chips (cover them up in my case lol ) the bra is gay , very gay actually but just makes it look a bit different imo i keep taking it off and on lol

i paid £4900 for the car

Nice motor, i also think these are nice, mates got a red one.

Leave the bonnet bra on! It's a german thing! seats close enough.

sweet car was tryin to get 1 b4 i got the starlet but cudnt get loan did you get that off pistonheads?? my mate had the cupra r at 300bhp an absolute beast til he was introduced 2 mr lamp post :haha:

Really done understand the bra things?!

So in order to protect your bonnet from stone chips you have to look like a nob for the duration...what about the rest of the body? why dont they cover the whole car with material? pointless imo..Why make a car look nice and then fuck it with a stupid bar lol?!
