Overheating in THIS weather? Bloody hell that's must be really bad. My fan doesn't kick in in this weather and no overheating, not to mention that most like the heater was on at all times and that's cooling the engine down as well.

I wonder why would she sell the car after a fresh rebuilt with 10 miles on the clock? May be tuning developments didn't do a good job rebuilding the engine? I heard some bad stories about their rebuilds. That overheating in such cold weather sounds for me like there is ether something wrong with the build or a faulty thermostat, but then again alsmost the whole engine was rebuild why would anyone keep an old thermostat to save £10?

Thanks for your comment. As i have just posted it was a minor issue and its been sorted its not that bad like i said below it was one of those things you dont expect to just happen but it did. Tuning developments have done a fantastic job amazing infact. And if you read my ad i am selling it due to losing my job and he has had a serious accident with his hand so it cannot get drove wich isnt good for the car. I dont want to have to let it go mate but shit happens the problem with the fan has been delt with quickly as i said i got it srtaight to a garage and sorted the issue out

Tuning developments run this car in for 500 mile. They would have spotted a major problem with my car and any minor issues we can sort. Just to stop this before a witch-hunt comes about.

Steven and Fiona are selling this car for reasons I have just been made aware of, I have told Steven I think he should keep it and enjoy it before making any decisions such as this but his mind is made up.

The engine has been built by us and also ran in and mapped on the dyno with an EManage, the car has covered a minimum of 800miles since being built. The car has not once overheated when we had it, any car will overheat if left idling long enough with no air going through the radiator, fact.

This car is an excellent example of a Glanza V, certainly an eye-catcher and has pulled very healthy horsepower for the turbo it is running on. With a TD04 setup or something similar 280bhp is easily achievable. 'Boostup' I presume you are the chap I had on the phone no less than 4 times in 2 days about this car? If so then you have missed out on a bargain for the deal that was negotiated.

Steven/Fiona, best of luck with the sale, although I still think you should be keeping hold of it

Its really hard having to sell it but due to cercumstanses i have no choice. You and nick have done a fantastic job like i have tried telling folk. But ill just wait i supose this car is worth a hel of a lot more ive been told by loads not to sell it and keep it and just hold on until fiona gets settled in work and my hand gets better. And i might just end up changing my mind seems noone beleves my comments. and is a fine example. I appreciate your comment. And thats well funny as the guy who came to see it said he was practiaclly best buds with you thats why he was going to ring you.

I hate to see it go after all the time you have spent onit but i hate seeing it stood its a tricky one :-(

I checked all the fuses they were all fine also I went my self to the shop and bought fuses and still no good. The car over heated so badly it could have caused further damage.

May i just say you did not try all the little fuses and that was the problem that is solved aswell as a new fan y put on the forum that it was over heating bad if it was bad it would of being bubbleing and prob blown the pipes so dont make it aut to be as bad as what ure saying

Mate the temp on the dash went all the way to the top I mean right to the top when we actually realised its over heating, plus the colour of the kit fitted on the car was a slightly different shade, but like u said it might come out with abit of buffing but who knows, I came all the way from birmingham at 6 in the morning, cost me 70 quid, so I wasn't coming down to waste ure time, if it wasn't for the car over heating I was going to take it but like I said I wasn't going to pay that sort of money for a car that was over heating, when I spoke to mike over the phone I told him the problem he was like we can't say untill you bring the car down, but like u said the car is sorted now and I wish u all the best with selling it
