Has anyone used these products and found any gains or benefited from excitment from it? Or is it just a load of crap on the ct9 and work awful?

well no you're no losing power as its on the exhaust side of the turbo, just makes a bit of a noise and i didnt notice any big creep issues. but most decats cause a bit of creep

so alot of u guys run screamers on ur internal gated turbos.....
i was goin to do it but dont really want it to leak much at all does it leak alot or not really enough to hear it off boost in saying that i am running a gt2860rs turbo

some turbos are ok, like mitsi td04's/td05's as they are seperated in the turbo. but obviously the best way is to have an external wastegate

It does, but because you have a forced induction engine, it makes no performance difference whatsoever!

PS, they sound awful :)

My friend had one on his Glanza and yes they do sound awful. I would not recommend one:)

I brought my starlet and the car had a screamer on it. Wich i took off and put a autobarn decat on and as soon as i drove the car i felt more power and the car moved off and away from stand still quicker. i think like the turbo works best with out leeks and good presha the exhaust works best with out leeks and good presha works good with out a (screamer leek). they soud like shit and are just a money making thing.

dont run a screamer on a ct9.. pipe doesnt work and it sounds like a tractor..

only run screamers if you have an ewg which you obv have to have a screamer.. and if you live somewhere where the police are pull happy.. it may be worth knowing that screamers are illegal to the best of my knowlage..

i have an externally vented internal wastegate (screamerpipe)

i personally love it and when i fitted it along with a full system could easily feel loads more power and when overtaking etc the extra torque

mine blows quite noticably but doesnt bother me

just have to keep revs down around bobbies or they throw a hissy fit

they sound shite :haha: especially on a ct9.. does nothing for performance either.. so waste of money really...

if you must have the noise then get an external wastegate, at least it has the function of having stable boost control, aswell as it making extra noise, if thats what floats your boat :p

have to disagree with you all a mate of mine runs a night pager on a ct9 an i think it sounds awsome

the people who say you loose power are just chatting shite
