Theres loads of vaccum sources on the standard mani and tb, can be taken off any mate.

For boost control, personally I would use the port on the turbo's compressor housing, although it's not clear from your first post whether your saying your turbo has one or not?

The main reason I would suggest supplying pressure to the gate direct from the turbo is that it keeps the hose length as short as possible. Any leaks or damage with that hose will result in over boost problems.

Think he means he has no nipple on his compressor housing yes.

Same with my TD04 but I tapped a nipple into my silicone joiner just below the inlet of the compressor, I would do that Craig
