No rev gauge on mates forged mapped EP82

My mate's EP82 which is forged and mapped on Link G3 or G4 ECU with a wasted spark ignition system (I think it uses the pickup off the standard dizzy, and then a Vauxhall Corsa coil pack).

Unfortunately, the tuner can't get the RPM gauge to work properly - can anybody help? Cheers

Who's the tuner?

Point them in the direction of the wiring diagrams, there's plenty on here. If he still can't figure it out take Dunc's advice.
