No turbo power

had the engine rebuilt last week but since iv put back on the turbo kit it dont work the green turbo lights on the dash aint coming on either, :mad:

its external wastegate setup,,

an my engine builder aint back till the 17th either,,

The first thing you can check yourself would be the clamps for any boost hoses and the hoses themselves for any tears or loose ones. For there to be no boost at all most likely means a massive leak.

All hoses seem to be ok there aint anything different from b4 the engine was built but il have a good look at it tomorrow,

cant really drive it either as alternator belt is squeaky incase it snaps, new 1 on it Friday,,

Yep everything is the same as b4 the engine was built, em manifold and down pipe were welded on when engine was out of the car if that makes a differance?

em hoses are on the wastegate an the other little 1 on the turbo, ya its with apexi boost controller,

Ok changed the squeaky alternator belt, an took it for a drive an instead of drivin it like a nun on my fresh engine i gave it a good bit of gas an it started to boost, it just seems longer to build up a bit of boost than it did b4,,

and im not sure if the 2 pipes goin on to the wastegate are the right way round, this happend me b4 an when i got to full boost it gave a good frighting backfire and a jolt forward in the car i dont want this to happen agin as im sure its not good for the engine, and it only ever went to .4 bar boost now i seen it hitting .5 bar boost, would this indicate that the 2 pipes should be switched around?? or will i just wait for my tuner to get back on the 17th,,

Got it sorted pipes were wrong way round,
But it is laggy the turbo takes longer to kick in than when before I got the engine redone,
