my engine finaly gave spirit today...yeeep...its allot like a diesel,no power unless on boost (needs to be on boost just to get moving) i noticed it when i thought the guy at the back off me at the trafic lights had cought on fire! i acually laughed and quietly said ''shaaaame" only to realize later that all that smoke was coming out of my exhaust...going for a full rebuild but since i dont live in the uk...may someone recommend what i could do? not going for massive power prob built with tdo4..

i would get a new engine, get a full gasket set ect, wouldnt bother going forged if you don't want great power, then run a td04, get a manifold, full system, hsk actuator, frontmount intercooler, look into a ecu if you have the money ect, run it at 0.8? 0.9? 1bar? iv got a set up like that and made 210 at the fly at 0.9?? just a thought tho mate!
