Odd tapping sound...

I've got a weird tapping sound in the top left on my engine bay, and it only does this when the engine is running...it doesn't speed up when revved, it remains constant

it's coming from around the left side of the intake/stock boost controller location

my idle is also around 1400 RPM, and I can't seem to figure THAT out either, I've checked the following:

-vaccum lines
-TPS sensor
-Map sensor
-timing is set correctly

checking the fuel pressur when my RRFPR gets here, any ideas on what ELSE it could be?

seems very simple man..

@ the end of the plenum there is the idle valve.. thats whats ticking.. take it out & clean it.. probably thats whats causing the erratic idle.. btw.. its meant to tick

ticking sound

it might also be you injectors pulsing they make a ticking sound aswell which is all the time when it is running obviously
