iv just got off the phone with my local toyota dealer, and he has looked and it gives two different part numbers for the 4efe and the 4efte engines???

What were the part numbers he found?

11115-11070 and 11115-11071?

They are both the same gasket, 11070 was superseded by 11071 in 1995.

depend what you want realy the thicker you go the saver it will be, but it will take longer to spool up. 1.2mm or 1.4mm criuse ones would work well with your setup or you could go for a 0.6mm trd one but you will need a good tune with it. i am using the trd one with over 2 bar boost on a 5e with 10cc dished pistons.

set up properly on the rr, with good management all the right fueling mods.
but if you blowing a head gasket that is already bigger than this its not been set up right causing det and blowing it. good management(standalone) and a good tune on the rr is the key to preventing falure in any aspect of the engine

im still using standard fueling and injectors, fuel pump etc.. just had a forged lump built, could it still det??

i think i may just go for a standard headgasket

the engine can still det forged, but it will just cover up this problem. you need some mangement mate then you will be ok on a stock gasket 1.2mm i think. also you will need 330 injectors and a uprate fuel pump to run that boost pressures on a td04
