Oil light doesnt work

When i switch the ignition on and all lights light up apart from the oil light. I have taken the clocks off to check the bulb but it hasnt blown. I think i remember seeing somewhere that when a KMH/MPH conversion is done it can mess things up a bit. Is this the problem or is it something else ?

normally a dodgy switch or dmaaged wire/connector.

remove the connector and touch it to somewhere metal on the engine to ground it. that should bring the light on. if it does, you need a new oil pressure switch. they are pretty cheap

Okay I was advised to buy one of these. Will get that sorted ASAP. Thanks for the reply.
