thats what i was thinking, seen some for around £25 unbranded ones and honestly like you said they all do the same job, is there things i need to watch out for???

sorry to gate crash bud, does anyone know which of the above would fit cos i need one too but dont want one that leak like crazy. are all toyota (starlet (uk), mr2's, corrolla etc) oil filters the same fit i.e thread and filter size?

depends on what fitment your gauge sensors are, you need to match the threads in the sensor holes on the sandwich plate to the threads on the sensors themselves. So if you have 1/8 BSP threads on your sensors then you need a sandwich plate with 1/8 BSP holes.

Its weird as ive seen ones that just sit between the oil filter and block (i.e. you dont screw them onto the oil filter fixing attached to the block) but ive seen ones that you do screw on and then screw the oil filter on, on top of that.
