oil vapour from rocker

hello again. i may sound like a pain but i have noticed a very small amount of smoke / vapor from my rocker when i rev the car... i have already rebuilt the top end as well due to a cracked ring land....this is now sorted and i have just done a compression test witch shows 174psi over all 4 cylinders... what else could cause visible vapor :/ ??? pcv valve maybe ??

could be the pcv valve. have you taken it for a good long run to warm it through and evaporate any condensation out of the top end? could be as simple as that

yeah have tryed that.... tbh i think your right as i do get the slightest and i mean slightest bit of mayo in the oil cap aswell. cheers fella... i have just posted up a few pics of the car in the welcome section

Did you replace all 4 pistons or just 1? If 1 did you check the others for ringland damage?

yes dave it only had the 1 new piston and all the others where striped and checked for damage. i notice when a ring land has gone sounds a little like a scooby. plus litraly just been outside and done a compression test and all 174psi across the board so deffo not a ring land
