opening lsd gearbox

I've got my gearbox open to the point where there is an inch gap between the two casing parts but it is now stuck and i cant see what is still holding it together, any ideas?

Ok,

If you look on the bell housing side of the split box, there is an arm that holds it together,with 2 bolts.
Its a right bugger to do.

Get someone to hold the box apart, and you will see exactly what i mean.
Im sure they are 10mm/12mm heads on them.

Taking it apart is the easy bit, putting it back together is a nightmare.

i'll look forward to it, you do mean just on the inside of it done you. Im only taking the two pieces apart then having a quick look and putting it straight back together

Yes, the bolts are on the inside. (on the bell housing side)

A quick look, turns into a long look.
Trust me, ive been there twice, and thrown some amount of tools in the process.....

lol, well the lsd is now out thanks to your help mate and sitting on my mums shiny work surface. shes on holiday though haha. Now i dont kno what make it is though lol

Take a pic down one of the ports/windows, as in the 1st pic.

some more pics still not sure what it is. but there looks to be a little logo on it on the plastic bit. it looks like trd but its really really hard to make out and i dont think i've seen this logo before.
