Hi all,

you may have noticed an outage today. The server we run on required a reboot as it stopped responding. Prior to this it had experienced no problems at all for 3 months.

We are extremely happy with the platform we are running on and expect the odd outage here and there but are glad to be rid of the daily outages we had been experiencing prior to the move.

Apologies for any hassle getting on but all should be back to normal now :)

hi all the server didnt die but our bandwidth got totally blocked up
this is resolved now and there is a 45 second limit between searches. I will drop this back to normal when traffic dies down.

Looks like this is up to 60 secs now is there still trouble ? , damn the site's just too popular ;)

The traffic is epic.

It's either let you girls wait 60 seconds between searches or wait an eternity to load the site. I tried telling Dylan to let you go cold turkey but he amended the search engine instead..:haha:

its back to 15 seconds now lads. Sorry for the hassle but we got totally hammered over the past couple of days.

not sure what just happened there. Have had a support ticket raised with the hosting company for the past hour. Then it suddenly began working again.

The server was fine and didnt require a reboot. It is looking like the host made a firewall change that blocked alot of our traffic ... lets see what they come back with.

Server got totally swamped with traffic there. We are monitoring it and have put the search period back up to 30 seconds as an interim measure.

super quick response dylan buddy. excellent work---nearly had a heart attack when my homepage didn't come up lol. on the ball as ever.

lol :) can be scary when the good old homepage doesnt load alright :)

We expect to see a little blip every now and then but thankfully have only had to reboot once since September. The odd severe spike can cause the dreaded "database error" but we are on top of it ;)

Outage due to huge server load. Have set search interval to 45 seconds for now until traffic is stable again.

Bit of a database issue there guys but looks like we have it under control now :)

To allow adequate time for the server to recover we have limited the search duration to 45 seconds. Once things have settled down we will change this back to normal

There was approx 10 minutes disruption to service at 11:48am

Our hosting company were alerted via our server monitoring system that the server had become unresponsive. They sent the server down for reboot and had verified by 11:58am that everything was back up and running as normal.

We are extremely happy with the service from our hosting company, the service is expensive but their response to issues is second to none as demonstrated in this case.

TGTT server going down for reboot soon to fix some DB errors some members are experiencing. Expect some delays for a short while.

I am currently performing some urgent maintenance procedures. The time between searches is set to 90 seconds for the next hour or so as some heavy database work is underway and we need to get it done asap. Sorry for any inconvenience caused during this period.

This should be done soon.
