When i put my foot to the floor the car seems to jolt and sounds like its sneezing (couldnt think of any other way to describe it). The EML also comes on. I have been told its over boosting but ive turned my boost controller right the way down and it still hasnt made a difference. Any help would be much appreciated. I currently dont know what bar its doing this as havnt got round to getting a boost gauge yet. It only started doing this when i fitted a catback Japspeed exhaust.

What seems your describing is what you called fuel cut where the ecu cuts the fuel as not ment to be over .8 as standard setup is .65

If you keep doing this you will damaged the engine along with the turbo.

You need supporting mods to go over .8 bar off boost.

You need an ecu that benifits the fueling upgraded fuel pump fmic good spark plugs, leads upgraded air filter that's all at the top off my head.

Its not a good idea to adjust the boost when you don't know what boost its running!

Especially with a big bore Japspeed system its probably creeping a little to.

Fuel Cut without a doubt, take the boost controller off and put the stock one back on and it should be back to normal. Thats if everything else is stock?

The boost controller was on the car when i bought it so i dont have standard one the standard actuator is there which made no sense to me on why a boost controller is there cause its already controlled and wont go any higher Ive also turned it down far as it will go. I have a FMIC and uprated air filter. I never perpulously let the car do it as i only have 3/4 throttle before it does this and it only happpens when going up hill to get more power up hill. I have an uprated fuel pump and emanage blue ece but wasnt going to fit till fit TD04 cause of remap costs and didnt want to pay twice or is it worth fitting it now ??.

also I've turned the boost controller all the way down and its still doing it but like i said will it really make a difference on standard actuator ?

I would ditch the manual boost controller and get a decent electronic one. First thing I would get is a boost gauge so you can see what its boosting to rather than just guessing.
