hey lads!!! new to the site!!! im from cyprus and i have a question...how could i get my engine rebuilt in the uk and ship it over?? or buy a forged engine from the uk and bring it over safely! i dont want fukups! i dont really trust anyone over here and its so overpriced!! any info would be helpfull!!!!

hi mate...get quotes with couriers etc however i think it may be expensive shipping an engine over?

If you buy forged parts would you not be able to forge yourself?

heya! thanx for the reply! do you mean buy all the parts i need from the uk and do it myself?? probably im afraid im not very skilled with mechanics..lol what will i need to forge my engine? can someone post a list of basic things i'll need? thinking about keeping stock turbo as i want to keep that responsiveness..plus im not after big bhp numbers..around 200 would be good! :) thanx!

Yeah as said my matchew ^^^ a forged engin would be pointless using the stock ct9....you could however go for a hybrid ct9 and run it at around 1.2-1.3 bar on a forged engine.
Theres are endless turbo setups matey, tong turbos on ukstarletclub.com are doing td12 kits which are supposed to be very responsive :D

erm.. you checkd the costs that are charged in the UK?? is it more expensive than that in cyprus!?!?!?

hahahaha!!! sound like a plan to me! lol the thing is, im positive the engine gonna give out soon..very poor condition :( so a rebuild is in order! i know i dont need a rebuild for 200hp but i would like the engine to be reliable, this is what im thinking,pistons,rods,gasket,mild steel heatwraped mani,external wastgate,full exaust system,fuel pump and a good ecu,just basic things really how much am i looking at roughly if i was to buy all that in the uk??

By the sounds of it,you are aiming higher than 200bhp.
While you are at it,not a bad idea to forge and increase reliability for future upgrades [that will soon happen when you get used to the existing power].
All depends if you have the money to spare.

chears for the info ruggiero06! nearly fell asleep on the last vid..lol and to thefalls, thats the whole point! i dont have money to spare! i want to do it once and properly! if my engine was in good condition i wouldnt rebuild it,but its gonna make me feel allot safer pushing it if i do!
