Panhard rod loose

Hi,

I have a Whiteline panhard rod fitted to my Glaanza and I think its coming loose. It's making loud knocking noise. The back end moves ever so slightly as well when changing direction. Is it possible to jack the car up and tighten the bolt or will I have to take it to a garage for them to do? I only have a trolley jack but don't know if I will be able to reach.

Thanks in advance

Wouldn't advise getting under the car without a set of axle stands mate.
You can do it yourself though :)

very easy fix. just elevate the car and ensure it's secured on axle stands or bricks/blocks/stones then adjust it as required.. :)

If its not slammed then you can probably reach it without jacking it up. Its the nut that locks it in position, had it on mine. Just put my back into it and its been fine since!

X2

Put some thread lock on it and it shouldn't come loose again.
