good info there as always ;)

i would tend to ignore the last part about replacing the cylinder block if it is over that measurement though. you can just get it bored to take 74.5mm pistons instead.

You won't know until you take the head off. The block & pistons are marked with the numbers, you should buy one with the same number. 20 yrs ago machining of blocks was not as good as it is today so, due to tool wear, the bores got smaller, hence the different sizes, There's really not that much in it, but best to go with the same as you have.
