Prob a fake lol :)

I found a blitz one now off someone who's been on Uksc for ages

He said he wants to keep it for his setup now lol

A genuine plug and play ecu would have a second daughter board installed. It would be still using toyota's conservative maps as the base while removing restrictions on fuel and speed cut, rpm (the tachometer may say 8000 but tested with a meter it is actually 8500rpm), injector duty cycle is increased for additional fueling as needed and ignition timing added to compensate for the high rpm drop off you'd get on the hybrid. If a fcd is needed on a Jam ecu it's fake.

I have been shifting at 8000rpms for 7 years with standard internals. My engine is healthy and well maintained. If the engine is not in good condition high rpms and boost won't be a good idea regardless of ecu fitted. With the high price being asked for these units fakes are possible. Years back there was a technical discussion on the old site showing how to raise the rpm limit on a stock ecu memory serves...and stickers are easy to make.
