problem?

i was stripping the head today, all went okay except for the valve air controller which bolts in at the left side of the intake manifold. the pipe broke that goes into the manifold from the controller, how will i go about this? Thanks Shane.

i assume you mean the idle control valve? you have 2 choices. either glue it back together and hope for the best or get a replacement.

im sure thats the one, held in by two 12's and has a earth on one? i take it then the pipe is attached to the controller and not the manifold?, wud it be risky to glue it because if it came apart cud it find its way into the intake?

i'd replace it....if u get a 2nd hand one...maybe clean it out before you install it...they tend to get a bit of grime over the years
