i did my cv joints and boots 2day, but it didnt go to plan lol the inner boots that go over the shafts into the box dont want to go completely on. but i got fed up with trying and took it for a test drive to see if it would hold for a while, whilst i was driving it the brakes were very iffy sometimes it would brake well and other times id apply the brakes and get nothing till my foot was touching the floor. is this because the cv joints are not on right???? as i never had this before and didnt touch any of the braking system during the work.
the car is going into a garage 2moro morning to sort the cv joints out but obviously i dnt wanna drive out with no brakes so need to know if it could be something else.
also the car over-runs slightly when turned off, it had been sat for a few days and had to jump it and when i came back from the run i had to stall the car to stop it from over-running usually it stops after a second any ideas????
