psi dropping off

yeh men,my girlfriends car ,its a fully stock ep82 only thing is the cat is taken out,it used to read 10 psi and stay there but now it like spiks to 10psi then slowly drops off wat could cause this and wat could i do about it?

Same thing as mines when my cat was gutted, dosnt boost past 0.5 and lost low end torque and laggy in higher gears!
