PUG 206 Problem with seats belt hope someone can help

My gf's car is a 2003 pug 206 , the passenger seat belt is broken and needs to be replaced however its connected to the air bags. formula one refused to replace it and said it had to be done at a manin dealer. however the crafty people at peugeot want £265 does she have any other options because im sure someone must be able to do it for around half that sort of price

if the seat belt is broken just replace it , when you unplug the airbag connector dont turn the ignition on untill its all refitted etc

disconnect the battery and touch the terminals to get rid of any charge in the wires and be god damn careful any static from u touching the airbag connector will set it off the u luckin at a few grand to replace it plus a headache and loss of hearing

so what your saying is any normal garage shopuld be able to do this ??

yea should be able to most dont like too coz it dangerous its like removing your steering wheel if its got airbag any slight current and bang it goes off in your face when i did mechanics at college to show wot happens when airbag goes off they had fire department come in and do it in the carpark behind college in a controlled reinforced box and they go off with a really loud bag
