putting vynals on bodywork

guys, got a job in work to put warning stickers on the backs of lorries. i tried hot soapy water to stop the bubbling, however the bubbling has still occured, can anyone help. its real hevey plastic stickers.

Aren't you supposed to heat them up and go over them with a stanley blade? Clean the area with hot soapy water then stick sticker and heat up etc?

i had tried that, was going to maybe use boiling water and see if it helps it any. cheers mate
