Quantum 5-40w oil

Just want to know if 5-40w quantum oil any good for a V or would it b recommended to get something like Castrols?

Any help appreciated.

Should be fine, just stick to the recommended service interval.

I'd suggest an oil change every 3,000 miles for normal usage.

Change it more often with a new filter if your going to be using semi synth

Thanks guys. Just done 2k of ownin my V but put 10-40w quantum but after readin fully synthetic is the one for my engine gona change now.
