question about fuel

hey my car is about to come back on the road, i blew it up about a year ago, its now been rebuilt with a forged engine and is due to be started this week. just wondering will the full tank of v-power which has been in the car for a year be ok?
any advive would be great

I doubt it man its probs gone off at this stage.

it will probably start with it, but may not run that well with it and i definitely wouldnt go thrashing about using it as the octane level is probably about 20 now

if you can syphen half of it out and then refill that half with fresh stuff that would be alot better

I read its bad for the fuel pump aswell if theres been fuel lying up for a good while in a tank.

cheers guys its what i thought be best just to use fresh stuff on a new engine

There is a big drain bolt on the bottom of the tank so it will be handy to drain the fuel out
