Bump. Trying to sell her now and really could do with some help, every1 wants to know whats wrong with it and I just keep having to say I don't know, really off putting I would think

Have you got the valve seat for the Tial wastegate installed?

Valve seat?

It's a metal ring that sits in between the gate and the manifold flange, it seals the valve in the gate when it's in the closed position.

It's never had 1 of those and it used to work? I don't get why it boosts when the vac pipe is taken off, surely that would indicate a external gate fault no?
