re brake fluid

hi all quick question im getting new pads braided lines fitted all round and while its getting done having a complete brake fluid change.

my question is how much fluid will i need? 1 litre 500ml

please keep in mind this is for my new honda civic but i really aint got a clue generically what is needed?

aslo what to use? 5.1 4 dot

Have a look at motul rbf 600. Supposed to be one of the best out there. On the downside, it has to be replaced at least every year.

brake fluid is every 2 years, unless the vehicle is driven hard

The rbf is a race brake fluid and supposed to be more hygroscopic than normal brake fluids.
I've read that a lot of aussies replace it even faster and only use it for half a year before they replace it.

Yeah thats right, most brake fluids should be replaced once a year atleast but main dealers are down as every 2years.
