Has anyone got a set of rear calipers for sale for a GT turbo? I only need the drivers side but happy to buy both.
Also are the glanza calipers the same?
Thanks

Trouble is it's the handbrake bit on the brake that is the issue, don't think it can be rebuiltI don't see why you would have to get replacement calipers as the 2nd hand ones will be in poor condition also, just rebuild the set you have
Does the seal kit really solve the issue? As the issue is the parking brake mechanism which is attached to the handbrake cable.EP82 & 91 are the same, ABS doesn't make any difference.
The mechanism can be refurbished (the bits come in the Toyota seal kit) but it looks like a pain to do. Have avoided it so far myself.

Will a seal kit from Toyota do the job if i take it apart and clean everything all upI have rebuilt many pairs of rear calipers, they are a bit fiddly and if not put back together correctly the handbrake mechanism wont do its job properly or at all.
I was trying to remember who it was on here that done loads of themI have rebuilt many pairs of rear calipers, they are a bit fiddly and if not put back together correctly the handbrake mechanism wont do its job properly or at all.
I always used the genuine seal kits with my rebuilds, if the piston is seized there is a high chance of its walls being damaged and pitted and will also need to be replacedWill a seal kit from Toyota do the job if i take it apart and clean everything all up
buy some new generic bleed nipples and get a machine shop to remove the snapped ones and fit the new ones inAnybody fitted new bleed nipples on theirs? Mine are both snapped
the worst part of rebuilding calipers is snapping bleed nipplesHopefully a wee easy out can get the broken bit out fucking starlets eh lool
Are you still offering the service Bud .....the worst part of rebuilding calipers is snapping bleed nipples
