Rear calipers

Has anyone got a set of rear calipers for sale for a GT turbo? I only need the drivers side but happy to buy both.

Also are the glanza calipers the same?

Thanks

Can yours not be rebuilt? There’s a guy in the fb group that is selling a refurbed set of all 4 calliper's. He maybe welling to split the fronts and rears.

I don't see why you would have to get replacement calipers as the 2nd hand ones will be in poor condition also, just rebuild the set you have

EP82 & 91 are the same, ABS doesn't make any difference.

The mechanism can be refurbished (the bits come in the Toyota seal kit) but it looks like a pain to do. Have avoided it so far myself.

Does the seal kit really solve the issue? As the issue is the parking brake mechanism which is attached to the handbrake cable.

Yeah, from what i understand the seals fail and let in water/crud which affects the mechanism. Could be wrong.

Theres a funky little c-clip involved from memory which has always put me off though.

I have rebuilt many pairs of rear calipers, they are a bit fiddly and if not put back together correctly the handbrake mechanism wont do its job properly or at all.

I always used the genuine seal kits with my rebuilds, if the piston is seized there is a high chance of its walls being damaged and pitted and will also need to be replaced
