Rear wiper removal

Hi folks,

Quick question, how does the wiper arm come off ?
Just tryin to get it re-painted. Looked earlier and noticed a thread where Idrees says just yank it after takin the bolt under the cover off. Tried that with WD-40 but it won't budge.

Any ideas? Do I need to take the boot panel off and the motor?

after u take out the nut it should just pull off buddy,, i sprayed mine it came off pretty easy,,iv mine completly out motor and all had 2 take the boot panal off 2 get 2 it,,came out prety easy looks a lot cleaner at the back,, wit no wiper on it,,

The wiper does come off when the bolt is taken off. Simply spray a load of WD40 onto the area and leave it for an hour or so to soak in.

When trying to pull it off, just wiggle it about a little and it will come off. The thread is tapered on it.

Lol nice, might try that aswell probly gonna do it next week now thou as I'm workin 4 nights on then 4 off.
