Recaro SR3 Repair help

Well one of my recaros has been damged for a while and just pulled it out to take a look, the problem is one of the adjusters to set the backrest seems to have broken on the inside and feels asif the gears are worn off but I can't get inside as its welded shut. So I was wondering what other recaros have the same frame as the sr3 as I could buy a damged seat (worn ripped etc) and swap my foam and covers onto the new frame and then attach it to the bottom part of my original seat ? Or if anyone has anything suitable or any suggestions? what's the cheapest recaro of the same design if thats what I have to do, are the evo 4 seats the same?

What's a fucked one of them go for Johny do you know? Take it you haven't any parts lying around?
