I dont know if this has been cover before so i do appologise but i can never get on with the search bar.
Got a set of tein coilovers had them on just over a year and never been happy with the height on the front, and the fronts are wound down to the max.
I know teins arent the lowest coilover out there and most people would say get a different set...
But has any1 ever had anything to do with removing 1 of the collers.

Any advise would be much appriciated...

what model teins do you have? if its the super streets i would not remove one of the collars.

because there are only 2 collars that need to lock together. other coilovers that have adjustable height and preload have 3 collars so you can get away with loosing 1 to get a little extra drop.

you can do it, but then you have nothing locking the bottom spring seat in place.

Well the bottom coller is wound right to the bottom thread and wont go no further..
Thats the only way it would wanna go...
So surely would b ok wouldnt it?

that is true. but as it has nothing as such to lock against it could work its way loose and then wear as it can move on the thread. short term it wont be an issue. i just wouldnt want to rely on a single ring to hold my suspension spring on.

as i said, you can do it, but i wouldnt.
