i strongly dissagree with most of your comments about drill

i will explain why

i am a plater an welder an work with metals all day long useing the drill is the wrong way to go, if you want a truely good finnish that will last forever get a power polishing pad for a grinder i find the 3m range are shit hot for ally these will give you near a mirrow finnish then all you need is some degreaser wipe it down an get some good quality laquar an spray then rub with a fine wet an dry then spray the rub etc etc i would put around 5 to 6 coats an you will have a bloody great looking rocker m8 hope this helps

hi sorry for the delay i use a shop called cromwells for all my gear they are all over the country but any industrial suppliar sell them even b&q but i found them a bit crap you most deffinatly want to use the 3m pads that is the make you will also want a 3m backing pad for the grinder an just tell them you want a medium pad for ally an a super fine pad, the medium will take out any blemishes in the ally an the super fine will buff it up, only one nak to it move the grinder slowly an let it do the work dont push down on it

if you dont want to spray it i sugest bit of autosol etc, put the autosol on the super fine pad that will bring it up a treat

also when i said spray it i ment in a clear lacqure then you will never have to polish it again just wipe it with cloth thats wat ill be doing not into polishing in all them nuks an crannys lmfao
