looking for padding for my cage,dont want to pay a fortune,anyone recommend me a decent place to buy it?

Johnnys right, just looks similar but the plumbers stuff is just thin foam and useless!

Proper rollcage padding is VERY DIFFERENT from ANYTHING used in the plumbing industry. Density is completely different, one is for heat insulation, one is to stop your head from smashing into pieces.

PLEASE DO NOT USE PLUMBING SUPPLIES! It can potentially kill you. Certainly on a car destined to spend most of its time on the track you will be wanting the actual product.

i know the differences,hence why i want the proper stuff.
rang the local guy to me,wants 35 euros for as box of around 3 foot,feck that,ill keep looking.

its about 9 quid a metre, you wont get cheaper than that matey.

the plumbing stuff works wonders in my mates car (coming from experience lol) hit it a few times and not a scratch
