Guide: Roof lining removal
Whats the best way to remove the roof lining and refit it into another starlet?
I've got no idea how the front attaches but the back seems to be held on by a brittle plastic strip going right the way along...

I tried it and it turns out that you have to:
- pry the plastic strip under the boot seal off
- Think you might need to remove the rear plastics. Not sure though because I already had these off.
- peel/pry the roof lining edges off from under the door rubbers and rear window rubbers. Probably best to remove the rear windows for ease
- unbolt the rear view mirror, sun visors and mounts, and the oh-shit handle
- start pulling the roof lining down gently from the back and twist the metal bars out carefully one by one
- finally bring the roof lining down so its just hanging from the front and unbolt the 6 bolts holding it on
