Yup, you have read right, I started the car drove about 5 metres then the engine stopped. Tried to start it to hear odd plastic banging noises then nothing. I suppose being so close to my house I was lucky.
Pushed it back to my drive and left it as I was due to watch a movie at the flicks.
Checked it this morning to find the dizzy cap had two holes in it and looking into the cap I saw a shattered rotor arm. The electrodes at he sides of the cap had been bent out too.
I've had a look online on other forums (not starlet related) and it comes up with just cheap rotor arms or bearings going in the distributor...
Anyone else ever seen this?
