Rotor Disc

I am looking to upgrade my standard front rotors. I would like to know whether i should use GROOVED alone, or GROOVED AND DIMPLED?

Also my car is a <92 starlet and has a centre bore of 54mm, but i am leaning towards either EBC or Mintex Disc. these manufacturers only carry 55mm disc.

Does anyone see the 1mm spacing as being an issue? As i have spoken to technical reps at EBC and they have advised i would have no problem, since the disc are held by the WHEEL STUDS and not so much the centre bore.

Dave please enlighten me as to what difference the 1mm will make? Reason being i was leaning towards EBC and they guarenteed me the 1mm WONT make a difference, since the disc is held by the wheel studs.

If you look at the holes for the wheel studs they are a loose fit so the disc can move on the hub. Get the right size and be safe

The disc moving on the hub? But wont the disc me fastened by the wheel studs?

well what would u amagine? a disc spinning at like 1000rpm a minute, gonna be huge wear and vibration, not to mention probably destroy your pads and caliper also and scare the fcuk outa u lol
