rpm gauge

hi my factory gauge does not work. could anyone explain to me where the signal comes from?

It comes from one of the wires on the ignitor, but I would check the back of the clocks first.

i did and everything looks fine. sometimes it moves a little but it isnt accurate.

in the engine beside the diagnostic connector block is the IG connector block. Check things look normal there.

wat exactly is the ig connector block ?
and wat should i be looking for exactly
