rpm problem

i keep getting fault code 12 which is the rpm signal, it started out only sometimes but now as soon i put any pressure on the accelerator the rev needle jumps and it feels like its hitting fuel cut

the car idles fine, and it will rev no problem when parked.
its only whilst moving this problem happens.

so far ive swapped the ignitor, coil, dizzy cap and leads with a mate of mine but its still the same.
any input would be great,

How is your grounding mate, dou you have 3 solid grounding points? what voltage are you recording?

there are only 2 grounds of the battery, my altenator packed up last week. i put a 2nd hand one on and its reading 13.6- 13.9 volts. i can remember before it was 14.4 all the time!
i better put another earth on and see if it helps

yea thats been tried, iam running out of parts to swap!

this is still not fixed, i just changed the ecu again but no joy!
