Rwd

just got in from a quick lil drive round town in my mx5, and beggining to wonder if i am going to miss the rwd if i change to a gt??
i do love the mx5 but money is causing the sale and in need of a bit more comfort. but for the fact it is just so god damn fun, i dont know if i will get the same excitement when driving a gt, no more kicking the ass end out on opposite lock. this is becoming an ever more difficult decision to make?

have any others had a past experience of a change in cars like this and how did you get on?

also not having power steering is a bummer in the 5

:confused::confused::confused:

Why not take one for a test spin (at a bigger dealer so you don't feel guilty when you walk away)? It won't take long for you to decide between rear-wheel happiness or boost... ;)

We I have driven so many cars now and the bad bit is, it will all be down to you on what you want from a car.

Every car out there is good in some way as in, good fuel economy, going side ways, fast, looking nice, 4x4, fwd, rwd.

And it goes on and on so at the end of the day, Wright down what you are looking for from a car and then get the right car that fits.

You may find out that it was you mx5 all along.....

ive gt 2 starlets and jsut got a eunos and i love it! much more fun to drive than a stock GT/glanza even if not quite a quick. some mild mods on a starlet though and power isnt an issue but the handling compaired to the eunos is no comparison!

the thing is i think that my mx is prety quick for na, when i had to replace the engine ,the one i was supplied was a mk2 n the head was different, so i had to rebuild the head from my engine and use the block from the new one, so im not sure if the mk2 has higher compression and works better with the mk1 head, along with induction kit decat and larini zorst system, its surprised a few high powered cars, and handling is ridiculous, if i wan tit sideways, its sideways, if i want it to stick, it sticks, round corners nothing can touch it.

well mine is just a1.8 s limited with bilstien shocks and 40mm spring front + rear braces and torsen LSD it seems reasnable its very fluent in the power delivery but it seems to do ok im going to turbo it when i get time though so lowe C.R is better:p

but with jsut thoes few hadling mods and 205 50 15's it grips like fook and im comparing to my GT with coilovers, rear ARB anti lift plates, front lower arm bar and front/rear strut braces!
