Self Designed Service History documents

Hello all

Due to most japanese imports coming with little or no service history, or documents that are written in Japanese.

Has anyone else designed their own service history documents, this could simply be in the style of a template. Everytime you have something done to the car you fill it in including mileage or km. In order to make sure the details on the document are genuine, it will be stamped by the garage where the work is carried out. The garage would usually stamp the service history book but as i said it's highly unlikely that the car will come with this.

Does that sound ok, it's better to have this than nothing at all. Does anyone else do this at the moment.

everytime i service or do anything at all to mine i write down the date, how many miles the cars on and keep the recipts, this is all kept in a plastic folder. least it gives the car some credibitily when it comes to sale, yeah its not stamped, but its better then having no paperwork at all
