setting the boost with external wastegate but no boost controler for now ??

I am running external wastegated on my TDO4 set up and just wondering how to adjust the boost as i will not be using a boost controler just for now...
i kno there is a spring in the external wastegate but wondering if this can be adjusted like the actuator or do you have to go and get a smaller spring or somthing?? its just i will not kno what boost i am running when i get it fitted?

its not adjustable like an actuator either get a stiffer spring for the wastegate or a boost controller to raise the boost.

It all depends on the pressure of the spring to what boost pressure you will get. I'm sure manufacturers of wastegates (tial, turbosmart, etc) have a range of springs that are available to change the base boost pressure.

yea a boost controller will be on the cards asap but i am wanting to kno what boost i will be actually running until then? its the killimats Z-Sports External Wastegate!

He will be able to tell what size spring is in it its normally .6 bar i think

No boost guage to monitor boost and no boost controller sounds dangerous man. I know you said you'll get a controller asap but i'd get one even sooner than that if I was you.
