Shuddering/Agressive Clutch when releasing

Just wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on my current situation please.

I currently have an Excedy Paddle clutch fitted to my GT and it will select gears fine, however when i release the clutch pedal after selecting a gear the clutch will shudder/vibrate.

This can be quite violent and aggressive at times especially if i release the clutch quickly or the revs are mid to high (anywhere above 3k).

I can get around it by changing gears at low revs (circa 2k) and releasing the clutch pedal gently.

All thoughts and opinions very welcome.

Many thanks.

could be a few things; oil, grease etc on the clutch. a flywheel that should have been skimmed prior to fitting the new clutch or a defective clutch.

i have had issues with the last 2. the defective clutch was an exedy standard replacement, there seemed to be a batch of shit ones back in the day.
