Slipping Clutch

Hello Folks

Hopefully someone can help me clarify if I'm just not pushing the clutch down fully sometimes..

How does the gear change respond if the clutch is slipping?

Any replies would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance:beer:

Sometimes you find it hard to get into gear. I had a problem getting into third when mine was going, sort of have to wiggle it about to get it in.

You'll know it's slipping when you try to boost and it just revs lol

Thanks for the quick reply man.

I think I just need to put my foot down more firmly!

I wouldn't no about boost yet. I only have a N/A, but I like my only... I think i need the practice before I get the boost. Could be dangerous what with my liking of aceleration:)

Sorry mate, just assumed

Just hold it in gear and see if it slips, or even try and hill start but on a big hill lol mine just slipped when you gave it too much workload

^ yep as above, basically mate if your revs increase without you picking up speed.. or your revs fly up.. stick at like 5k then your revs will effectively build up and then catch the indicated revs up again and then continue to build.. probs sounds really confussing but youl understand when you experience it..
