spark plug leads

a quick question im curious,what is the reason for bigger spark plug wires?also ngk has some blue ones similar in size,would this increase voltage because they are made by ngk?also can honda leads work on our engine?

honda leads won't work, clip ends will be all wrong as well as the length of the part that goes into the cylinder head
larger leads are supposed to provide a more potent spark due to less resistance, you probably won't notice a difference except used in conjunction with an MSD or other ignition booster

im using the ngk standard replacement (the blue ones you are saying) you will not notice any performance even with the 8mm ones...

i just put the splitfire 7mm twin core ones on mine had some crappy ones before but havent tried the car yet as it was raining
