hi guys iv had a problem with my speedo not working for a while now and really need to sort it out. iv disconnected the speedo cable form my gearbox and span it by hand, the speedo moved up and down so that surely means form the gearbox up everything is working fine?? im wondering if its the gear in the gearbox that drives the cable thats giving me the problem. its a 96 glanza. does anyone know what part id be l0ooking at replacing and how i can get hold of one? im ppresuming its some sort of worm gear?? any advice or information much appreciated cheers guys. sam

Because the cars are imports they are in kph normaly when they come into the country they put a converter on the gearbox to make the speedo read out mph.The speedo cable (gearbox side) should screw on to this converter.
