Spiral in spring

Hi, will it b safe if i remove one or two spiral s on the four standard spring for better handling. i already got the four shocks hardened.
Will it b safe for handling or i simply go for lowering springs, but the prob is the latter dont lower the car for a great xtent.

don't cut your springs matey, save up and get some lowering ones.

that's on a spring/shock combo, plenty low enough

Cutting springs doesnt just lower the ride height, it reduces the rate of the spring, making it softer.

This will make your car handle like a shed/skip!

You can get Tein springs for about 150GBP and these do the job perfectly

i might be wrong here, but i thought less coils= stiffer spring?

certainly was the case when i tried it out on a spare set i had on the maestro turbo, it was rock f*ckin hard.
