Spraying Samco Hoses

if i wanted to spray the hoses say orance or green, or custom colour with out search heaven and earth for a cheap one, what type of paint could i use to this and with what effect would it have??? :homer:

wouldn= probably look really shit at a guess mate as not alot sticks to silicone.

maybe some of the painters on here can help

I highly doubt it'd work out.

Get some coloured silicone tape and wrap it in that instead.

my idea was initionally to get gold samco hoses, but ive'd searched every where and they only have orange and yellow. and there not exactly the colours i wanted it in, so um desperately looking for an alternative....HELP!!!!

i think if you used plastic paint its a little flexible but i dont think it will last long though and will crack and fall off, also its got to deal with high temperatures.

you would be better off looking for a different colour to be honest.

use the sell adhesive tape, from demon tweeks, any colour, it hasnt got that sticky stuff, it self bonds, something like that lol. ordered some for my silicone hosing kits which are in blue but want to change the colour

i dont think any paint will stick to silicone, best buyin new hoses mate

nothing sticks to silicon not even araldite.
Samco make custom colours tho it is very expensive.

dont do it!!!a lad did it on a escort rs turbo as he couldnt get the same coulor as his car.....mint green....so he sprayed them...for tehm so come out shite....they went flat and flakey
