Doubt it, 5efe internals suck ass. You wanna put some 4efte pistons and rods in then it'll be fine

err, you can't put 4efte rods in the 5efe, they'd be too small :homer:

Yeah, on a stock 5efe, I wouldn't even run more than 6psi Akki...get some 4efte pistons and 5efhe rods AT THE VERY LEAST, some decent managment, a thicker headgasket, then you can raise the boost

My 5e-fe powered Tercel is CT-9 turbo'ed and I ran as much as 10 psi. Un-tuned at that and it's been more then 2 years and still going strong :)

exact the 4efte rods are shorter.:p

i ran a 5E-FE at 6/7 psi but due a not capable fuel management i burned my piston rings and valve seals.


if you get the fuel management right i think it could run fin but no 14psi.
