wat power will a standard clutch hold if its bran new??

i would say anywhere between 150-170 if your gentle. but it wont last as long as an uprated one at those higher figures

Any upped boost will start killing the standard clutch as its shite....

mine didnt do too badly and i seriously abused it as i wanted an excuse to change it! admittedly i wasnt running massive power but if abused it wont last long at all

soem have run an OEM/genuine standard clutch disc WITH and uprated pressure plate quite successfully------the addtional clamping force was all that was needed in minor/moderate power increases

im on a standard clutch for nearly two years now,running 178bhp..and was run for a year and a half before that by the previous owner!!it was slipping around 6 months ago,but hasnt done it since..im lookin forward to having a look and see what clutch is in it when i take the engine out..
